Chemical Case Study

A very well known chemical company has a brine cooling system that operates at -20 to -30 degrees which required maintenance, when the valves were checked many of them were inoperable. Hydra-Ject was called in to survey the system. 9 valves ranging from 10” to 24” required freeing and 5 needed internal inspection to prove the position of the gate; also fabrication work was needed on several valves.
